A handheld text-to-speech Road Runner, handheld text-to-speech reader designed for designed for blind, visually-impaired, and individuals with reading disabilities reader designed for designed for blind, visually-impaired, and individuals with reading disabilities. Using Road Runner and the supplied headphones, you can listen to electronic text files without being connected to a PC. Road Runner holds about 2000 pages of text (up to 3 megabytes of data) and can read continuously for up to 40 hours using two AA batteries. Road Runner accepts ASCII text files. These files generally appear with a TXT extension on your PC. Many file formats can be converted to text.
