What are the benefits to having your own home based buisness?

Filed under: General — Laura @ 4:36 pm

To some people – perhaps a majority of people – the idea of working at home with your spouse might not exactly be a match in heaven. For for Matt and Stacy Williams, however, it is the epitome of married bliss. Their home based business deals in search engine optimization for clients’ websites. They told me that their home based business has gone from strength to strength whilst they have been working from home, and their already strong marriage has flourished, too.

The Williams have six part time staff on their books. These staff are also able to work from home and set their own time. Most communications – including many of the daily meetings – are done via the Internet. This is a small business that is truly a home based business.

Matt and Stacy are keen on tools to help them ensure that working from home does not have an adverse effect on the home based business or indeed on their lives outside of work. Web based extranets, a virtual conference calling center and a virtual phone system all help the team keep in touch.

It’s our dream come true, said Tracy Williams, hugging her husband Mark close to her in their fabulous house and head office.
