My son tells me that I’m useless on the Internet and I’m inclined to agree. He also said that I would never be able to master filesharing. Again, I’m inclined to agree but me being me, I decided I take a shot at proving him wrong. I’d overhead him talking to his friends about it so I’d picked up some of the lingo. I also heard him mention a site called OfficialAres.com which, he was saying, was really useful.

So off I went and looked at OfficialAres.com. First thing I learned was that Ares was the network I wanted. It was hands down the biggest and therefore most useful. Secondly I saw that the site’s reviews section had a comprehensive rundown of all the major players in the world of Ares downloads. This was a huge help!

With the aid of the site’s excellent help and instruction I managed to download and install Ares Ultimate (which seems, from the reviews, to fit my needs the best). It was much easier than I could ever have hoped and I’m quite pleased with myself!

So I started downloading some soothing classical tunes – again this was something that Ares made very easy for me – and I was downloading away in no time at all. Imagine my son’s surprise when he found me! And my version of Ares was better than his, he said! What a day!
