Find out about Ares Ultra

posted by Laura

Ares Ultra is another contender to the throne of best filesharing program. While all these applications have their advantages and disadvantages it is interesting to see where they differ. The biggest string to Ares Ultra’s rather sizeable bow is that it is simple to use. Perhaps it is too simple to use, even, but that is a minor quibble and one which will not effect the majority of users.

What really impresses us about Ares Ultra is that it sets out to be one thing and one thing only: a really solid filesharing application. It doesn’t try to help you to do things you didn’t know you wanted to do in the first place; neither does it hinder you in carrying out those tasks that you really do want to do (namely filesharing). In many ways Ares Ultra is the perfect filesharing companion for those who just want the simple things in their filesharing life.

iPhone accessories are a new market by itself that offers a plethora of new gadgets to go with your iPhone and making its way through this next generational change thats about to come in the way we search, sort, email, and watch content on the internet. We are entering a new thought process in how we go about our business since the dawn of the internet. We are moving away from a laptop generation X to a hand held device generation Y which originally migrated from the clunky desktop generation. Now the iPhone accessories are the fillers in this equation of converting from X to Y. for instance the GPS unit which used to be a separate unit by itself is now tagged as a 3G iPhone feature and will put the GPS business out in limbo. With that simple example we can see where this is going in encroaching into the PC and laptop business. iPhone accessories will help us see about this change.

Liberty League is Either Loved or Hated

posted by Eric

Liberty League International is a name that could induce feelings of love and fear across the home based business industry. Loved and hated in equal measure, no venture did more for the direct sales industry during the 2000’s. It has pointed the way for direct sales companies to make the transition to mainstream.

Despite this apparent success Liberty League International has long been the subject of a campaign by disgruntled entrepreneurs and competitors to discredit the name and any good work done by the company.

Unfortunately Liberty League International made it easy for people (mainly failed entrepreneurs that had bought into the business without realizing that they would have to work for their money) to discredit it: the product offered, a personal development course called Beyond Freedom, is hastily put together and of little value. It cannot be said that the venture was a scam, however, and many of the current top Internet marketers owe their success to Liberty League International.

Something that the whole industry owes to Liberty League International is that from the ashes of their mistakes many of the up and coming companies (like LifePath Unlimited) have watched and learned. For both good and bad, this old ’star’ of the industry has made a lasting impact.

posted by Laura

So you get up in the morning ready to go on a full day’s work. You’ve got an important email from Singapore that should have arrived overnight – you need this email for when you talk to another client later this morning at a teleconference. Your home business is thriving.

You pick up your budget computer and turn it on. Hard drive failure. This is your very worst nightmare come true. You realize that you’re going to have blag your way through the teleconference later. You pick up your cheap phone at the agreed time and dial your client’s number… except… your phone is no longer working. The gremlins were in last night and now the world is conspiring against you and your home business.

This isn’t a very likely sequence of events, but hopefully it will begin to highlight the role that dependable, reliable, good quality home office equipment can play in your life. You home business deserves investment.

Home Based Business Success Together

posted by admin

Colleagues Matt and Stacy of Prominent Placement Inc. have been seeing a lot of each other recently. In fact they’ve spent a few nights together and have been got really very, ahem, close. Do their spouses mind? No. Why? Because Matt and Stacy Williams are already married. Prominent Placement inc. a one home based business run from Matt and Stacy’s home, and they are very pleased with how business is progressing: “We’re working together toward the same goals in both our personal and professional lives”.

The home based business is successful and the Williams have employed six additional staff. These staff all work from home – essentially on their own home based business – and are allowed flexible working hours. Flexible hours equals happy employees, reckons Stacy, and ” This means they’re likely to stay with us longer, which reduces our costs and time demands because we don’t have to continually find and train new people”. This is a progressive home based business from which many could learn lessons.

Taking on a home based business opportunity can be a daunting task and there is no doubt that to be successful one must work hard and persistently. Success does not come overnight and isn’t easy (otherwise everyone would be successful!). What makes it easier though is when you have a fantastic product that pretty much sells itself.

A product that almost sells itself is what the independent distributors of the Global Resorts Network have. And they have bucket loads of them.

The Global Resorts Network business model is based on the bulk buying of excess vacation inventory around the world which is then offered – discounts and all – to the network’s members. Memberships are purchased with a one time joining fee and no additional payments are required.

Not only are the prices of the Global Resorts Network vacations very attractive (running from as little as $299 per vacation – no per person!), so is their portfolio of purchased vacations. You even get three vouchers every year that you can give to your family and friends.

But it is in the home based opportunity that the Global Resorts Network really stands out. With commissions of up to $1000 and the possibility of recurring income this is an omissible opportunity.

Salvia Gets the Spotlight

posted by admin

The impact of the previously little-known drug Salvia is obviously nearing its critical mass. It is now popular enough to gain the attention of those who make our laws: Anthony Adams, an Assemblyman from California, recently started the process of putting a bill through the state Senate. The bill’s content? To make the sale of Salvia to minors a crime punishable by up to 6 months in jail or a $1000 fine.

Salvia is currently legal in almost all US States, but growing opposition and increasingly active pressure groups has seen the natural hallucinogenic grown in notoriety very quickly.

Salvia is the most potent natural hallucinogenic known and stands alongside LSD for strength of hallucinations experienced by users, who may feel very dissociated, may have out of body experiences, and may feel as though they merge with the floor or a piece of furniture.

The bill in state Senate is likely just a step in the direction of an outright ban for the widely available Salvia.

Free music downloads is a term that has been scaring the music industry for some time; scaring all those except the trail blazers. There are a few groups of forward thinkers that are dragging the industry towards the realisation that, in whatever form it takes, free music downloads is here to stay.

The popular rock band Nine Inch Nails have recently proved themselves as forward thinkers and, in what is undoubtedly a very brave experiment, are releasing their forthcoming album in its entirety for free. Free music downloads on their website.

This follows Radiohead’s move last year when the band released “In Rainbows” to the public for download at a price that they set. Want to pay 1 penny? Sure, go ahead. Radiohead’s lead singer Thom Yorke has since stated that this was a one off, but with such big names offering free music downloads it can only mean that the industry, finally, has to take notice.

LifePath Unlimited Home Business

posted by admin

Recently Canadians have been flocking to the home business industry. And why not? They have found that they can more easily tap into the U.S. consumer base that was previously possible. What has caused this change? Firstly a change in the way business was carried out; secondly in the supporting technologies used by home businesses; and thirdly in the attitude of the businesses offering these opportunities to Canadians.

Previously most home businesses relied on physically meeting lots and lots of potential customers; more recently this changed with the introduction of Direct Sales which requires less customers to be able to earn a decent living.

The year 2004 saw Liberty League International burst onto the Internet. This organization gave Canadians the ability to market to both local Canadian and U.S. markets from their homes via the Internet. This, coupled with low-cost VoIP services, meant that Canadians could now run successful businesses from their homes.

Wealth Masters International entered the Canadian market in 2006. Wealth Masters is primarily a financial education company. The bulk of the information is centered on U.S. financial structure and left many of the Canadian’s neutral on the opportunity.

LifePath Unlimited – the latest player in this drama – is becoming the business of choice for many Canadians. LifePath Unlimited have capitalized on the booming personal development industry, but their product also prominently features both U.S. and Canadian luminaries.

3G iPhone

posted by Sashi

If the rumors are to be believed then Apple is planning to release its brand new 3g iPhone towards the end of June this year. This brand new model, sources tell us, will be thinner than the original by 2.5mm (which might not sound a lot but is around 21% thinner); it will also be subject to substantial subsidies from carrier AT&T.

The 3g iPhone may be offered with as much as $200 cut from the price of the phone itself, with AT&T making this back over the period of the contract. In fact with the average 3g iPhone user racking up a hefty $100 tab each month due to the higher priced data and calling plan this return shouldn’t be so long in coming.

The news of this cut will please potential buys, but how will current owners feel when they see a newer 3g iPhone model being offered at a fraction of the price they paid?
